Tipton is located just south of Fort George G. Meade in Odenton, MD and is equidistant between Baltimore, Washington D.C, Annapolis and Columbia. The airport is minutes from major roads and freeways (I-95, I-97, Route 32 and MD 295).

You must at a MINIMUM file a flight plan with FSS, have a working Transponder, maintain radio communication with ATC, and receive a unique code from ATC for all flights in, out, or within the ADIZ.
